Looking for something to watch on TV after dinner? Sen. Amy Klobuchar will appear on "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" at 10 p.n. CT today.

Klobuchar said the show approached her months ago. She'll be the second Minnesota politician in recent months to appear, after Rep. Ilhan Omar came on in July to talk about her trajectory from refugee to the first Somali-American state lawmaker.

The senator hasn't detailed what she'll talk about on the show, though Klobuchar will likely address what it's like trying to get anything done amid a tumultous time in Washington--from getting answers in the federal probe into Russian meddling in the presidential election to trying to pass less polarizing legislation on lowering prescription drug costs to pushing back on the GOP healthcare overhaul.

Noah may also ask about any 2020 presidential aspirations-- Politico recently reported that Trump's reelection team has already started tracking a list of possible Democratic candidates that includes Klobuchar.

FILE -- A rent deposit slot at an apartment complex in Tucker, Ga., on July 21, 2020. As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
