A semitrailer truck overturned late Monday morning in the southeast metro area, closing a major highway in both directions, authorities said.

The truck, carrying boxes of clothing, crashed about 10:15 a.m. on Hwy. 55 east of Rosemount, said State Patrol Lt. Eric Roeske.

The driver was taken to a hospital with noncritical injuries, Roeske said.

Traffic was flowing again by about 12:40 p.m., according to the lieutenant.
