The service employees union held back their gubernatorial endorsement all year

The Service Employees International Union is finally ready to tie the knot.

The 30,000-member union had held back its endorsement in the governor's race all year but Tuesday it will wed itself to DFL gubernatorial candidate Mark Dayton in a Capitol news ceremony.

Since the Aug. 10 primary, Dayton has picked up many of the union endorsements he lacked before the selection election.
