The Xerxes Avenue bridge over the Crosstown is coming down this weekend and MnDOT will close a portion of the Crosstown to do the work.
The Crosstown - Hwy. 62 - will be closed in both directions between Hwy. 100 and 35W from 10 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.
Eastbound Hwy 62 to France Avenue will remain open to allow access to Fairview Southdale Hospital
During the closure, westbound Hwy 62 traffic will be detoured to I- 494 and to Hwy 100. Eastbound Hwy 62 traffic will be detoured to I-494 and to I-35W.
