See Prince's barely legal video for "Breakfast Can Wait"

The sultry clip was directed by and stars an 18-year-old beauty named Danielle Curiel.

Per a press release from Prince Central, the singer granted the Los Angeles-based Curiel "complete artistic and directorial freedom after one reading of the treatments she submitted for the song." It's a sweet backstory, sure. Now let's just hope Prince doesn't feel free to make Curiel his latest romantically linked protégé.

"Breakfast Can Wait" already drew an online buzz in August, when it was released as a single with cover art featuring comic Dave Chapelle dressed as a pancake-serving Prince in an unforgettable skit from his "Chapelle Show." The video also harks back to the Chapelle bit in parts of the video that show Curiel dressed as the Purple Yoda handling flapjacks. Prince himself doesn't show up in the video, which he screened for some fans last weekend after his concert at Paisley Park.
