A second person has died as the result of a collision between motorcycles Saturday in East Bethel.

Gregory W. Ettawageshik, 56, of Minneapolis, died Monday at Hennepin County Medical Center, the medical examiner said Friday.

The crash happened when two Harley-Davidson motorcycles, each driven by a man and carrying a female passenger, collided on Hwy. 65 near 184th Avenue NE. just before 3 p.m. Saturday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. Another motorcycle was slightly ahead of the one driven by Ettawageshik when it turned right to exit at 184th and was struck by his cycle. Both motorcycles rolled and all four occupants were thrown off.

Sara Cassell Gilbert, 50, of Eden Prairie, the passenger on Ettawageshik's cycle, died at the scene.

Neil R. Tessier, 50, of Blaine, who was driving the other cycle, and his passenger, Sherri Ann MacRae, 46, of Lino Lakes, suffered noncritical injuries.

No one involved was wearing a helmet, the patrol said, and both drivers had been drinking.
