One of the Tweetees in the Anthony Weiner sexy-Twitter scandal tells the Seattle Times that she was first impressed with the New York congressman after seeing him take on Rep. Michele Bachmann on Fox News. Gennette Cordova, a 21-year-old college student in Seattle, said she and her boyfriend started following Weiner on Twitter because they found him smart and funny in his tete-a-tete with the Minnesota Republican on the Sean Hannity show. "I tweeted words of support for him as a politician, and I retweeted his tweets often beginning around early, mid-April," Cordova told the Times. Apparently, her interest was reciprocated, as the world now knows. The whole story, gray boxer briefs and all, is here at the Seattle Times.
