Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll tweeted this Sunday night, after the playoff matchup with the Vikings was set:

"How many #12s will be with us in Minnesota??"

The reference, of course, was not to seldom-used Vikings receiver Charles Johnson but rather to the "12th man" concept that has become the Seahawks fan group — a point of contention with Texas A&M, which has sued both the Colts and Seahawks over its use.

Home-field advantage has been huge for Seattle over the past four seasons. Since the start of 2012, when the Seahawks' surge began, they are 31-5 at home, including 4-0 in the playoffs … and a still very good but beatable 20-14 on the road (including 1-1 in the playoffs).

If Seattle is hoping to transport some of that home-field advantage to TCF Bank Stadium on Sunday, there will at least be one factor in the favor of Seahawks fans: cheap tickets, at least by comparison to other games next weekend.

According to data from TiqIQ, the average ticket price for Seattle/Minnesota is $163, while the cheapest ticket is $65. Both represent the lowest figures among the four games next weekend.

Green Bay at Washington is the most expense at $307/$143; Kansas City at Houston is $262/$106; and Pittsburgh at Cincinnati is $190/92.

Of course, cheap ticket prices are also good for Vikings fans as well.
