ABOUT THE PACKERS (7-3)

• This will be the second and final regular-season meeting with the Packers, who won 42-10 at Lambeau Field in Week 5 against the Vikings.

• The Packers defeated the Eagles 53-20 on Sunday, scoring more than 50 points in their second consecutive game.

• Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has passed for 656 yards and nine touchdowns in the past two games.

• The Packers defense has forced 12 turnovers over the past five games. The team has the best turnover differential (plus-14) in the NFL.

• Green Bay is 4-1 in its past five games, moving into a first-place tie with Detroit atop the NFC North.

• WR Jordy Nelson is third in the NFL with 998 receiving yards and is tied for third with nine touchdowns.

PLAYER SPEAK DE Julius Peppers

• Peppers, in his 13th season, has five sacks and 30 tackles in his first year with the Packers.

• He had his second touchdown return on an interception this season against the Eagles. Peppers' first touchdown was against the Vikings.

•  On the Packers defense: "We're just playing our game. We've had great game plans going into the game, and the guys out here have been preparing well to go out and execute."

•  On his team's hot streak: "We're just staying the course. We're going out each and every day to get better. That's the result. We take this thing one game at a time. We go out every day, and we focus mainly on the preparation."

COACH SPEAK Mike McCarthy

• McCarthy, 51, is in his ninth season as Packers coach. He's 89-48-1 during the regular season and 6-5 in the playoffs with a Super Bowl victory during the 2010 season.

•  On the 7-3 record: "We've played some good football the last couple of weeks. I think it's just the ability to play good football in all three phases. But, hey, this is the National Football League. Every week is a challenge, and we would be ignorant not to think otherwise. We have a big challenge ahead of us coming to Minnesota."

• On the connection between Rodgers and Nelson: "You talk about two players that approach the game the same way. They're gifted physically, but their level of understanding and being on the same page has definitely been a big success so far this year."
