Guests at Wine & Dine for Climate couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting: rows upon rows of ripening grapes. The event, which supports the youth leadership and education programs of Climate Generation: A Will Steger Legacy, was held at Alexis Bailly Vineyard in Hastings, the oldest operating winery in the state. In addition to celebrating locally and organically grown wine — part of the climate change solution — the evening featured live music, a locally sourced buffet from Gigi's Cafe in Minneapolis and Kowalski's Markets, as well as all-you-can-drink wine supplied by the vineyard, of course. The late summer event was capped by a perfect sunset and just enough of a breeze to keep the mosquitoes away, naturally.
