Here's a fundraiser that really roars. The Ride for Kids, the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation's annual motorcycle ride, raises money for children with brain tumors and their families. This year's riders, complete with police escorts, took over the streets of Vadnais Heights for the 90-minute ride, revving their motors and blasting their horns to whip up enthusiasm. The Twin Cities area ride, one of three dozen across the country, raised more than $45,000 and included breakfast, lunch, a silent auction and a raffle — for a motorcycle, of course.
