For its second annual fundraiser, A Taste of Africa offered samples of African cuisine from several Twin Cities restaurants, including Afro Deli, Flamingo Restaurant, Dichi's Kitchen and Kumba Senesie catering.
The delicious event, held at Midpointe Event Center in St. Paul, raises money for the Rural Health Care Initiative, which aims to help the people of Tikonko, Sierra Leone.
Proceeds will be used to make skilled health care accessible to the community as well as to complete a birth waiting home for pregnant women.
