How many people does it take to pull a 90-seat passenger plane? Several hundred volunteers tried to find out at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. As part of the Law Enforcement Plane Pull, which benefits Special Olympics Minnesota, 23 teams tested their muscles, teamwork and fundraising ability. Each team of up to eight tried to pull a Bombardier CRJ jet 25 feet across the tarmac in the shortest amount of time. The event raised more than $33,000 for the 8,100-plus Special Olympics athletes in Minnesota. See more photos at startribune.com/style.
