The North American Pond Hockey Championship brought skaters to the ice of Lake Minnetonka and supporters to a concert for a good cause.
The championship, now a part of the DWB Memorial Foundation, raises funds for the ALS Association as well as the DinoMights, a nonprofit serving at-risk youths in south Minneapolis.
The foundation was started by friends and family of David Wynn Bigham of Shorewood, a community-minded Realtor and former baseball and hockey player who died in February 2012.
