What do you get when you combine live music and live models, hors d'oeuvres and high fashion, specialty cocktails and the latest in seasonal styles? You get Nordstrom's grand opening gala at Ridgedale in Minnetonka. More than 2,000 guests, all dressed in their party best, mingled throughout the new store's two floors — nibbling, sipping and watching models show off the newest looks in apparel, cosmetics, jewelry and footwear. The sold-out gala raised more than $200,000 for Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota and PACER Center.
