The Minnesota Dance Theater and School reached back to the past to celebrate the present.
To honor the nonprofit’s 50 years as a professional performing company and a school, MDT returned to the Roaring ’20s for its annual gala. For the evening, the Lab Theater in Minneapolis became a “sumptuous underground,” with butler-passed hors d’oeuvres and a chamber performance by the MDT Company, followed by dessert and dancing.
