The recognition meeting of the Metropolitan Economic Development Association drew hundreds of entrepreneurs, customers and business and community leaders to Walker Art Center to celebrate the achievements of the past year and set goals for the next.
The agency provides consulting, access to capital and market opportunities for minority entrepreneurs. It also operates a business development center under an agreement with the Minority Business Development Agency of the U.S. Department of Commerce.
