For one night, the field of U.S. Bank Stadium in downtown Minneapolis was transformed from a gridiron into a gala. The annual Light Up the Night Gala brought 1,200 professionals, philanthropists and patients to the massive new stadium for a celebration for the nearby Hennepin County Medical Center. Funds raised through the evening’s pledges, auctions and games of chance will help launch a multilingual patient education program and will help defray costs of HCMC’s Comprehensive Cancer Center.
