Dressed in island attire, several hundred friends of the Guthrie Theater transformed the atrium of the Minneapolis icon into a tropical paradise.
This year's fundraiser, dubbed the Bali Ha'i Ball, celebrated opening night of Rodgers and Hammerstein's "South Pacific."
After a social hour and dinner, guests were invited to watch the classic musical, which was helmed by artistic director Joseph Haj. There also was a post-show dessert and after-party.
Proceeds benefit the Guthrie's artistic and educational programming.
