The Food Group's sold-out Hunger Bash (its largest fundraiser of the year) brought almost 400 people to the Depot in downtown Minneapolis to mingle over hors d'oeuvres, browse items for the silent auction and vie for prizes at various games.
The Food Group was formed 40 years ago, when a dozen food shelves pooled their knowledge and skills to start the Emergency Foodshelf Network to better serve those in need.
The group helps feed thousands of Minnesota families and offers nutrition education and outreach.
