Scene + Heard: Como-Harriet Trolley

It wasn’t a sleigh, but Santa and Mrs. Claus did take a ride — on the historic Como-Harriet Trolley in Minneapolis. Hundreds of moms, dads and kids bundled up to join the Clauses for the short but festive ride from Lake Harriet to Lake Calhoun.

Even the trolley was dressed for the event, with hundreds of Christmas lights.

Riders donated to Toys for Tots and fares went to benefit the Minnesota Street Car Museum, which acquires, restores and operates streetcars in Minneapolis and Excelsior.
