Scene + Heard: Arts Forum in Minneapolis

April 29, 2016 at 1:44PM

Hundreds of Minnesota arts fans gathered at the Cowles Center in Minneapolis for an Arts Forum sponsored by the Star Tribune.

A spirited conversation took place between arts leaders: Kaywin Feldman, Minneapolis Institute of Art director and president; Joseph Haj, Guthrie Theater artistic director; Kyu-Young Kim, artistic director and principal violin of the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, and Olga Viso, Walker Art Center director. Topics included how to entice audiences (start them young), prices (keep them low) and what the institutions will be like in 20 years.
