The annual Medicine Ball gala, sponsored by the Abbott Northwestern Hospital Foundation, oozed the elegance of its theme: Time to Bond. An hors d'oeuvres reception — with martini bar — was followed by a three-course dinner and program inside the Hilton Minneapolis' colossal third-floor ballroom. The sold-out benefit drew black ties and suits that would make even Agent 007 envious. All proceeds support the Rod and Barbara Burwell Emergency Department and the Richard M. Schulze Neuro Intensive Care Center of Abbott Northwestern Hospital.
