Last month, in honor of Earth Day and Earth Week, we were bombarded with information and ideas about becoming more environmentally aware and being more eco-friendly consumers. Along these lines, Auto Week had a number of suggestions for making your garage "greener." With all of the automotive news these days seemingly centering on a wide range of new small cars, it's easy to forget that Toyota's mainstay - the Corolla - is still around and, according to reviews of the newest version, better than ever. The 2009 version is totally redesigned and looks cool - yes, a Corolla that actually looks cool. It remains a four-door, five-passenger family sedan. For 2009, it is available in eight trims, ranging from the Base five-speed MT to the XRS five-speed AT. Fuel economy numbers include 22 for the city and 30 for the highway. Price?
