The Eastview girls' basketball team, ranked No. 2 in Class 4A, defeated Hastings 55-28 to reÂmain perÂfect this seaÂson and finÂish at the top of this year's Holiday Hoops Classic at St. Olaf College.
MegÂan Walstad led Eastview with 17 points and 13 reÂbounds. In the two preÂviÂous tourÂnaÂment games, she had 15 points and 11 reÂbounds against Hopkins and 18 points and nine rebounds against NorthÂfield.
The Lightning held Hastings to 21.4 percent shootÂing. Krystal CarlÂson led HasÂtings with 12 points.
The Lightning beat Northfield 60-52 on Thursday and previously undefeated Hopkins, ranked No. 1 in this week's Class 4A poll, 66-56 on Friday.

Hopkins 74, BeaÂver Dam (Wis.) 71 (OT): Sophomore Kayhla Adams scored six of her 17 points in overtime for the Royals. Paige Bueckers had a game-high 23 points, along with seven asÂsists and seven reÂbounds, and Dlayla Chokolis had 17 points and 10 reÂbounds for the Royals. Tara Stauffacher led the BeaÂvers with 17 points.
Boys' basketÂball
Minnehaha Academy 53, Orono 50: Terry Lockett, who finished with a team-high 14 points, made a three-pointer with 1:15 left in the game to put the Redhawks ahead for good at the Granite City Classic at St. Cloud State. Spartans star Jarvis Thomas Omersa and Redhawks star Jalen Suggs traded free throws afterward. Colton Codute's last attempt to tie the score for the Spartans was blocked by Kaden Johnson. JaVonni Bickham had 12 points, nine rebounds and three assists for the Redhawks. Omersa finished with 20 points, 14 rebounds and two blocked shots.
Park Center 70, WoodÂbury 57: In a matchÂup of top-10 teams in Class 4A, the No. 5 PiÂrates came out on top. Park Center closed out the first half with an 11-0 run to take a 35-29 lead. SophoÂmore Dain Dainja scored 22 points for the PiÂrates and Tommy Chatman addÂed 15. D.J. FlemÂing had 24 points for No. 10 WoodÂbury.
Boys' hockÂey
Duluth East 2, Blaine 2 (OT): Joe Daninger stopped 64 shots to give the Bengals a tie against the host Greyhounds. The Greyhounds outshot the Bengals 66-22 and had a shot advantage of better than 2-to-1 in each of the three periods. Blaine lost a pair of one-goal leads. Carsen Richels and Jack Reimann scored for the Bengals. Garret Worth scored two goals and Ryder Donovan had two assists for the Greyhounds.
Holy Family 3, Moorhead 2: Cole WilÂson scored the go-aÂhead goal for the Fire midÂway through the third peÂriod. The Spuds kicked off the scorÂing with IÂsaac Henkemeyer-Howe's goal in the seÂcond. Holy Family got goals from Brady ZiemÂer and Joe HanÂkinÂson to start the third peÂriod. Nolan WestÂra tied the game for Moorhead beÂfore WilÂson scored the game-winÂner. The Spuds outÂshot Holy Family 32-27. The Fire won all three matchups in the HockÂey for Life Classic, beatÂing Elk River 4-2 and Benilde-St. MarÂgaÂret's 3-2.
PriÂor Lake 2, Chaska 1: The LakÂers came from behind to beat the Hawks. After Shane Lavelle scored for Chaska in the closÂing minÂutes of the first peÂriod, the Lakers tied the game in the seÂcond on PresÂton UnderÂhill's goal. LazÂaÂrus Kaebel scored the game winÂning goal midÂway through the third peÂriod with asÂsists from JackÂson JutÂting and Colin Tushie.
South St. Paul 4, Woodbury 0: Jacob Toensing stopped 16 shots to shut out the Royals in the championship game of the South St. Paul Premier Tournament at Doug Woog Arena. Brandon Reynolds scored two goals, Cam Kluender had a goal and an assist and Nathan Brandecker scored a goal for the Packers.

AndÂover 4, RogÂers 3: MadÂiÂson Clough led the No. 6-2A Huskies with two goals. JosÂlin Mumm seÂcured the win with a goal midÂway through the third peÂriod to give AndÂover a 4-2 lead. SaÂmanÂtha Scherling had a goal and an asÂsist for the Royals. The Huskies outÂshot RogÂers 30-21.
MinÂneÂhaÂha UnitÂed 6, Rosemount 4: The Irish led midÂway through the seÂcond peÂriod beÂfore MinÂneÂhaÂha UnitÂed went on a 5-1 run to finÂish the game. JoÂdie Clay led the scorÂing outÂburst with a goal and four asÂsists. MadÂdie Duca and Lily MulÂliÂnix both had two goals for MinÂneÂhaÂha UnitÂed. Ava Nygaard scored two goals for the Irish.
St. FranÂcis/North Branch 2, IronÂdale 1 (OT): Kylie Wolfe clinched the game for St. FranÂcis/North Branch with a goal less than three minÂutes into oÂverÂtime. SoÂphiÂa Zebro asÂsistÂed on the goal. Emma Fagerlee kicked off the scorÂing with her first-peÂriod goal for the Knights. Holly Anderson tied the game in the seÂcond.
