Gillard sparks No. 6 Eagles

• EDEN PRAIRIE 68, LAKEVILLE NORTH 67: Grantham Gillard's three-point field goal with just over a minute left, lifted the Eagles, ranked No. 6 in Class 4A, to the boys basketball victory over the Panthers. Gillard scored 28 -- 18 in the second half -- as the Eagles improved to 9-0. Connor Flack scored 29 for the Panthers.

• MINNETONKA 82, NORTH ST. PAUL 64: Justin Moes and Amar Miller each scored 23 points to lead the Skip­pers, ranked No. 4 in Class 4A, past the Polars.

• MINNEAPOLIS NORTH 84, HOLY FAMILY 78: Jamil Jackson scored 30 points to help the Polars, ranked No. 1 in Class 1A, outlast the Fire. Jack Mugford scored 33 to lead the Fire.
