Michigan scored three goals in the first 10 minutes en route to a 4-2 victory over No. 6 Notre Dame on Saturday afternoon in an outdoor Big Ten game that drew 23,422 to Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Ind.

Joseph Cecconi and Will Lockwood had goals 16 seconds apart in the fifth minute to put the Wolverines ahead 2-0; Nolan Moyle made it 3-0 at 9:54.

The Irish had the lone goal of the second, scored by Cam Morrison on a power play in the sixth minute. Notre Dame got within one, after pulling its goalie, on Alex Steeves' goal with 2:48 left in the third before Michigan's empty-netter in the last seconds.

No. 7 Ohio State 6, Michigan State 0: Mason Jobst had a goal and two assists and Tommy Nappier had 29 saves as the Buckeyes routed the host Spartans — quite a contrast to a 7-7 tie in the series opener. John Lethemon had 38 saves for Michigan State.

No. 8 Denver 4, Wisconsin 3 (OT): Slava Demin's goal at 1:42 of the extra period gave the visiting Pioneers a win over the Badgers. Wisconsin took a 2-0 lead in the first six minutes on goals by Dominick Mersch and Brock Caufield. And Matthew Freytag's power-play goal at 10:52 of the second put the Badgers up 3-2. Denver's Cole Guttman tied the score at 7:54 of the third.

No. 1 St. Cloud State 5, Robert Morris 2: Robby Jackson scored two goals in the third period to lead the Huskies over the Colonials in the third-place game of the Three Rivers Classic in Pittsburgh. The Huskies lost 7-2 to Union on the first day of the tournament.

Canisius 2, No. 13 North Dakota 1: The Golden Griffins, for the second straight night, were badly outshot but still swept visiting UND. Grant Meyer's unassisted goal at 1:29 of the third broke a 1-all tie. Matt Ladd had 48 saves for Canisius, Adam Scheel 14 for the Fighting Hawks.

No. 3 Minnesota State Mankato 4, Michigan Tech 2: Charlie Gerard's power-play goal for the host Mavericks with 5:36 left broke a 2-all tie.
