Jay Dickman's power-play goal early in the third period was the game-winner as host Bemidji State upset No. 3 Minnesota State Mankato 4-2 on Saturday night, ending the Mavericks' nine-game winning streak. It put the Beavers ahead 3-1.

Adam Brady and Nick Cardelli gave Bemidji State a 2-0 lead with goals in the first six minutes of the game.

Big Ten

Wisconsin 2, No. 14 Michigan 2: Luke Morgan's first goal of the season with 1:15 left in regulation enabled the Wolverines to tie the visiting Badgers. After two scoreless overtimes, Wisconsin won the ensuing shootout on Max Zimmer's goal for an extra point in the conference standings. Daniel Lebedeff had 35 saves for Wisconsin, Hayden Lavigne 40 for Michigan.

No. 5 Ohio State 5, No. 6 Penn State 2: Dakota Joshua's goal with 2:17 left in the third period broke a 2-all tie as the Buckeyes beat the Nittany Lions.

No. 17 North Dakota 4, Alaska Anchorage 3: Rhett Gardner scored two goals 41 seconds apart in the middle of the third period to lead the host Fighting Hawks.
