Minnesota Duluth scored three goals, two shorthanded, in the last nine minutes of the second period to beat North Dakota 3-0 at Amsoil Arena on Saturday in an NCHC game. The Fighting Hawks came to Duluth unbeaten and ranked No. 1 by USCHO.com but got swept. They lost 5-2 on Friday.
Hunter Miska stopped 20 shots for No. 2 UMD (5-1-2, 2-0 NCHC). Karson Kuhlman got the first goal at 11 minutes, 24 seconds of the middle period. Carson Soucy made it 2-0 at 15:42, and Kye Osterberg got the third goal with 58 seconds left in the period. Soucy's goal came on a power play, the other two shorthanded.
UND (5-2, 0-2) was 0-for-8 on the power play.
St. Cloud State 5, Alabama Huntsville 2: The No. 10 Huskies (4-2) scored four goals in the second period to beat the visiting Chargers (2-6-1).

Ohio State 6, Niagara 2: Ronnie Hein had two goals for the No. 15 Buckeyes (5-0-2).
Penn State 4, Canisius 2: Andrew Sturtz's shorthanded goal was the winner for the No. 19 Nittany Lions (5-1-1).
