Minnesota Duluth 3, Miami 1: Charlie Sampair's goal in the third period was the winner for the host Bulldogs.

St. Cloud State 9, Colorado College 3: Robby Jackson had two goals as the Huskies routed the host Tigers.

Wisconsin 4, Penn State 3: The host Badgers built a 4-1 lead in the second period and held on to beat the Nittany Lions.

Bemidji State 1, MSU Mankato 0: Brendan Harms scored a goal in the first period and Michael Bitzer made 38 saves to lead the visiting Beavers.
