Wesley Matthews tied his career high with 22 points for Marquette.
• NO. 2 MEMPHIS 76, SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI 67: Derrick Rose scored 23 points, including 11 in a 5-minute span of the second half, to help the Tigers (28-1, 14-0 Conference USA) pull away from the host Golden Eagles (15-13, 7-7). Memphis clinched its third consecutive Conference USA regular-season title with its 37th league victory in a row.

Fordham sets record for futility • NO. 15 GEORGE WASHINGTON 66, FORDHAM 27: The Rams completed the worst season in NCAA women's basketball history, losing to the host Colonials and becoming the first team to go 0-29. Fordham surpassed the 0-28 teams of Charleston in 1990-91 and Centenary in 1999-2000. Jazmine Adair had 15 points and 12 rebounds for George Washington (24-5, 12-2 Atlantic 10). Freshman guard Megan Mahoney's 15 points led Fordham (0-29, 0-14).
• NO. 1 CONNECTICUT 77, DEPAUL 76: Ketia Swanier made the go-ahead layup with 1.6 seconds left, and the Huskies (28-1, 14-1 Big East) rallied from a 17-point second-half deficit to beat the Blue Demons (18-10, 7-8) in Chicago.

Central Lakes beats Vermilion • In the NSIC semifinals, Jamar Diggs scored 26 points to lead Wayne State to a 75-72 overtime victory over Concordia (St. Paul). Bryce Caldwell added 16 for the Wildcats, who will play Winona State on Friday. James Metcalf scored 20 to lead Concordia. ... Kody Braddix scored 27 points to lead Central Lakes to a 77-53 victory over Vermilion in the NJCAA Region 13 tournament championship game. Braddix went 10-for-14 from the field, including 4-for-5 on three-pointers.
