Toki Wright, aka Prof. Wright (he's now the hip-hop studies head honcho at McNally Smith), is back in Minneapolis for the finale of his FADERS tour. The Rhymesayers/Soultools rapper will celebrate the release of his new mixtape ("FADERS") with a show Saturday night at the Fine Line. The album, arranged by Booka B, is filled with unreleased material and singles from that past year, including "Trakhouse" with Talib Kweli and I Self Devine, plus "Film the Police" featuring Sage Francis and B. Dolan. Joining Wright on Saturday will be soul singer Mayda, wag master Franz Diego and the buzz-worthy production squad Audio Perm (plus a few more guests). The album will be available soon on Wright's Bandcamp website (soultools.bandcamp.com).

FADERS' new video, directed by Adam J. Dunn, is for the song "Ode to Maximillian Cohen (π)." Like the Darren Aronofsky film it's based on, the song is a tongue-twisting, metaphysical romp:

FADERS release party: 8 p.m. Saturday. Fine Line, 318 N. 1st Av., Mpls. $10/$12. 18 and older. www.finelinemusic.com
