Sarah Jessica Parker is the latest "Sex and the City" star to endorse Cynthia Nixon in her bid for New York governor.
"A mother. An activist. An advocate. A fighter. A NY'er. A dear friend. Running for Governor of our great state," Parker wrote on her Instagram account Thursday. "My sister on and off screen, you have my love, support and vote."
Her post comes a few hours after she told Page Six, "Cynthia has been my friend and colleague since we were little girls. I look forward to talking to her about her New York state gubernatorial bid."
Fellow "SATC" alum Kristin Davis endorsed Nixon earlier this month, minutes after the the actress announced her bid to challenge Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the Democratic primary.
"I am so proud of @cynthiaNixon, no one cares more than she does about EVERY person getting a fair change and a good education. I know she would be an excellent Governor !" wrote Davis, who played Charlotte on the hit HBO series.
Kim Cattrall, when asked about what she thought about Nixon's bid, said, "I support & respect any former colleague's right to make their own career choices."
