Cornerback Benny Sapp always seemed to be in the middle of the laughter in the Vikings locker room, so it should come as no surprise he decided to have some fun in an e-mail discussing his trade to the Miami Dolphins on Wednesday.

Sapp was dealt for wide receiver Greg Camarillo in a trade that will enable Sapp to return home. He attended high school in Fort Lauderdale.

"I had fun playing for the Vikings organization," Sapp wrote. "I'm thankful for my time in Minnesota. I loved my teammates, the city, and especially Coach [Brad] Childress and [defensive coordinator Leslie] Frazier for giving me the opportunity to play for them. At the same time, its exciting to be going back home to Florida and play for the Dolphins."

And then Sapp ended with this: "I'm taking my talents to South Beach."

Take that LeBron James.
