Interesting. Danny Santana is starting at third base today.

Last week, I wrote a story about Santana's future role with the club, which could be as a outfield-infield utility horse. I interviewed Brian Dozier for the story, and the
Twins second baseman said Santana could become another Josh Harrison - an All-Star who can play a few positions.

Santana is leading off and playing third for the Twins.

Harrison is leading off and playing second for the Pirates.

Santana has not played third since 2010, when he appeared for five innings there at Class A Beloit. He was seen taking grounders at third earlier this week.

The game will be showed on the MLB Network starting at noon.

Tommy Milone, who hasn't been described as a lock for the rotation (seems like everyone else has) is on the mound for the Twins, opposite of former Twin Francisco Liriano. Milone told me he's only been in one camp in his career where he had a rotation spot locked up. This is nothing new to him.

Byung Ho Park didn't make the trip. So no photo opp with Jung-Ho Kang today.

The Twins hope that Butch Davis returns to the club on Monday. Davis left camp after learning that his brother, Michael, passed away in North Carolina.
