A recent visit to Crex Meadows wildlife area at Grantsburg, Wisconsin, offered excellent looks at Sandhill Cranes doing their courtship dances. These birds were seen in a wet meadow along Phantom Lake Road.
Some of the cranes were eager. Others, not so much. Ever had this feeling?
