Posted on behalf of my colleague Jane Friedmann:

The following cosmetologists were disciplined by the Minnesota Board of Cosmetologist Examiners last month.

  • Janine Panek, Circle Pines: Operator license revoked and fined $1,000 for submitting a fraudulent license renewal application.
    • Luis Alberto Rojas Ledesma and Alberto's Beauty Salon Inc., St. Paul: Fined $3,000 for allowing three unlicensed persons to work at his salon.
      • Patricia George, St. Paul, salon manager at Salon George: Fined $1,000 for reusing porous materials and allowing an unlicensed person to work at the salon for two years.
        • Regis Corp, dba Cost Cutters, 3324 Promenade Av., Eagan: Fined $600 for repeat violations, including unclean work areas and improper tool storage.

Read the enforcement orders by searching on the licensee's name here.

FILE -- A rent deposit slot at an apartment complex in Tucker, Ga., on July 21, 2020.
