If you want to catch some home-grown ballet, the Saint Paul City Ballet performs at the Ordway's McKnight Theater for just two nights this weekend (March 25-26).

Jazz composer George Maurer collaborates with the SPCB on one jazz-meets-ballet piece. And choreographer Greg Drotar offers his take on "Bolero," set to the Ravel music. For a more classical offering, the company, which now includes full-time professional dancers along with students, will do the third act of "Sleeping Beauty."

Again, two shows only, at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Adults pay $25.
