Seven months before it takes up residency at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska for a week, the Ryder Cup trophy makes a public appearance Saturday at the Minnesota Golf Show.

The Cup — the prize of the biennial golf matches between the United State and Europe — will be at the show from noon to 4 p.m. and on display from 2 to 2:30 p.m. on the Performance Stage.

The Minnesota Golf Show runs from Friday through Sunday at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Advance tickets are $13 on minnesotagolfshow.com.
