Rosie O'Donnell

It's not often that Oprah Winfrey takes a back seat to someone else, but that's exactly what happened Friday morning at the TV Critics Association press tour. Winfrey was on hand to let everyone know that she's now firmly in charge of the OWN network and then introduced Rosie O'Donnell who will launch a new daily talk show on the channel this fall.

O'Donnell is not everyone's cup of tea, but there's no denying that she KILLED during her press conference, riffing on her family, going to spas and worshipping Oprah. She almost gave her manager a heart attack when she admitted that she was warned to stay away from two subjects: Donald Trump and Barbara Walters.

OWN, which needs a hit badly, will also lean on the boss for "The Oprah Class," a nightly series that uses old Oprah Winfrey shows to teach lessons.

Critics also got a sneak peek at TLC's "All American Muslim," which follows families living in Dearborn, Mich., and Animal Planet's "Saved," a look at how dogs and other pets often "save" their owners. "Muslim" premieres in November. No date yet for "Saved."
