Police in Roseville said Monday they are pursuing "a number of active leads" in the shooting death of a 35-year-old man outside an apartment complex over the weekend.

Dondi A. Nalls, 35, who lived at the complex, was identified as the man who was shot Saturday evening. There have been no arrests.

Nalls was found by police officers early Saturday evening on the grass outside the Terrace Park Apartments in the 1400 block of Terrace Drive.

Nalls was pronounced dead at the scene, located southwest of the Hamline Shopping Center and Lake Josephine. Scanner traffic indicated he was shot in the head and/or neck.

Witnesses saw a white sedan race from the scene, heading north on Pascal Street, and police were hoping to contact anyone who was in the vehicle.

"Roseville detectives are following up on a number of active leads," police said in a statement early Monday afternoon that accompanied the identity of the victim.
