Authorities on Monday identified the man who died in a freeway crash over the weekend on the edge of downtown Minneapolis.
Brandon A. Fleming, 34, of Roseville, died about 3 a.m. Saturday after suffering injuries on eastbound Interstate 94 near N. 7th Street, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office said.
The State Patrol said later Monday that Fleming was speeding in his Cadillac SUV, lost control and rolled multiple times before hitting a sign in the embankment.
Fleming's sister Angelique Hassler said the family was told that Fleming was driving about 100 miles per hour.
The family has established an online fundraising page to cover funeral expenses.
