Roseville death tentatively ruled a homicide

Roseville police are investigating the suspicious death of a 47-year-old man, authorities said Sunday.According to the Roseville Police Department:

Officers were called to United Hospital in St. Paul about 6 p.m. Saturday after receiving a report about a resident who had died from injuries suffered in an unreported assault earlier in the week.

The man had been taken to the hospital by ambulance early Saturday after suffering seizures and vomiting.

He died while being treated.

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office has tentatively ruled the death a homicide. An autopsy will be conducted this week to determine the cause of death.

Roseville police have interviewed a number of people who knew the victim and searched his home. His identity has not been released.

No arrests have been made.
