Rosemount sophomore Hannah Grim is in a transition period.
Grim just finished competing in her third consecutive Class 2A cross-country state meet, and now is preparing for basketball season.
The Irish distance runner finished in 122nd place with a time of 16 minutes, 05.4 seconds over the 4,000-meter course in the state meet at St. Olaf College in Northfield. Grim qualified for state by finishing 10th in the Section 3 meet with a time of 14:58.
She finished 86th as a freshman with a time of 15:44.2 after taking 28th place with a time of 15:35.5 in her first state meet appearance as an eighth-grader in 2009. Grim also runs track and field for the Irish in the spring.
