A motorcyclist ran off the road in Dakota County and was killed, authorities said Sunday.
The crash happened shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday on Hwy. 3 near 160th Street on the southern edge of Rosemount.
Killed was James J. Schillinger, 58, of Rosemount. There were indications that Schillinger had been drinking, and he was not wearing a helmet, according to the State Patrol.
