A body found last week near downtown Rosemount still hasn't been identified, and the Hennepin County Medical Examiner is asking the public for help.

The body, described in a Hennepin County medical examiner's news release as a light-skinned male about 5 feet 6 with long brown and gray hair, was found Sept. 29. Papers found at the scene suggest he may have been missing since last fall.

The body was found near the intersection of 146th Street and Burnley Avenue West, in a small outbuilding owned by the Canadian Pacific Railway. According to the release, he was wearing Wrangler boot-cut jeans, a Chaps brand button-down shirt and a Wilson's Leather motorcycle jacket. He also wore glasses and a small hoop earring in his left ear.

An investigator is working on the case, according to the Rosemount Police Department. Anyone with information about the man's identity should contact the Hennepin County medical examiner's office or the Rosemount Police Department.
