A driver who crossed the centerline and collided with a semitrailer truck died Monday night, the State Patrol said.
Jack Dahl, 42, of Roseau, Minn., was driving east on Hwy. 11 when his Dodge Caravan veered into the westbound lane at 8:48 p.m. and struck a westbound semi near County Road 123 in Jadis Township, the patrol said.
Dahl, who was wearing a seat belt, died at the scene.
The truck driver, Todd Harris, 52, of Alexandria, Minn., was taken to Lifecare Medical Center in Roseau with noncritical injuries, the patrol said.
Road conditions were dry at the time of the crash. Alcohol did not appear to be a factor, the patrol said.
