Whether or not the Rolling Stones put a special twist on their set list tonight for Minnesotans remains to be seen, they did tailor their merchandise to tonight's TCF Bank Stadium show.

The iconic band unveiled a special line of T-shirts, jerseys, sweatshirts and even a rally towel fashioned after three Minnesota icons: gophers, loons and Walker Art Center's Spoonbridge and Cherry sculpture.

One design shows the Stones' omnipresent tongue logo altered with a pair of big, buck gopher teeth and maroon and gold colors, à la the stadium's resident University of Minnesota Gophers football team. Another shows a loon spreading its wings with the tongue logo emblazoned on its back. The best might be the one with the tongue logo poised to lick up the cherry in the Walker's sculpture.

What, no Paul Bunyan swinging a tongue-shaped axe? Or the Twins' Minnie and Paul shaking hands over a tongue-shaped river? Or Garrison Keillor standing next to a tongue-shaped Lake Wobegon?

Apparently, the Stones don't know about one more thing Minnesotans really are passionate about: saving money. T-shirts are going for $40, jerseys and sweatshirts for $100, and that's after tickets to tonight's show – which are still available, by the way -- mostly fell in the $150-$400 range.
