Rocky Mountain Snow Map

A potent storm system will send snowflakes flying over the Rocky Mountainstoday. Accumulating snow will fall from Montana to northeastern Nevada to themountains of Utah and Colorado.The heaviest snow will pile up over 6 inches in the areas surroundingYellowstone National Park in far northwestern Wyoming. Meanwhile, farthersouth, as much as half a foot of snow can be expected in the highest elevationsof Colorado, Utah and northeastern Nevada.

By Thursday, the heaviest snowfall from the storm will accumulate in Wyomingand the mountains of Utah and Colorado.
