Robert Boisclair, Twin Cities housing developer, dies.

Riverplace developer Boisclair was credited with redeveloping the once-neglected Minneapolis riverfront.

Wanted to note the passing of Robert Boisclair, who is credited with developing one of the first high-rise condo buildings in Minneapolis and with sparking the renaissance of the Mississippi River in Minneapolis when he developed Riverplace. Boisclair founded Boisclair Corp., worked with Hubert H. Humphrey and was also responsible for thousands of other housing projects, including Galtier Plaza in downtown St. Paul. Details are in a Star Tribune obituary.
